First Universalist Church acts to prevent nuclear war.01 Sep

On August 7th, the First Universalist Church at Hampden and Colorado collected a “Compassion in Action” offering to support The Colorado Coalition for the Prevention of Nuclear War.  The posters from the Hiroshima/Nagasaki Atomic Museum were on display.  $649 for our work was received which will go toward the our work to abolish nuclear weapons world wide.

Thank you to the congregation there for their kind offering!

Now we need people to come help us use this kind offering to change the world!

This is just one example of the many ways you, and the organizations to which you belong, can help work toward the goal of a world free of the terror of nuclear weapons.  That apparently won’t occur without people joining together and working to make it happen.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed persons can change the world. Indeed it’s the only thing that ever has…”
Margaret Mead
